Andrew's Premiership Predictions

Tottenham v Chelsea
Could it be revenge for Andre Villas-Boas? What a way to kick off another premiership weekend. Chelsea is top of the table and spurs are on their way up. Last time the blues were in North London, they won comfortably at the Emirates, however Spurs are an attacking team and Chelsea without the inspirational John Terry could have a bad weekend. I will go for a Spurs win and sweet revenge for Villas-Boas.
Tottenham 2 – Chelsea 1
Fulham v Aston Villa
Craven cottage has become some kind of fortress for Fulham especially for mid and bottom table clubs. Paul Lambert’s Villa travels there for a long, long day. What Villa need is Darren Bent at his best because he is the only one i see doing something to the Fulham defense. Fulham has a great relationship in Dimitar Berbatov and Martin Jol. Berbatov has a hip injury but could be fit for tomorrow’s game. Fulham will win this comfortably.
Fulham 2 Aston Villa 0
Liverpool v Reading
This should be a very difficult game if Liverpool continues playing what they are playing (too much midfield play and less box play). But if they can change things and attack more, they could demolish reading. The other problem the Kop have is they lost Fabio Borini to a foot injury so that means they only have one senior striker fit, Luis Suarez until January. The Kop must fear the worst. But i see them demolishing reading.
Liverpool 4 Reading 0
Man Utd v Stoke
Stoke are a hard side to break down, they proved that at Anfield last premiership weekend but Sir. Alex’s United are also good at battling for wins. This game will be won in midfield and how good Wayne Rooney plays. He had a tough and poor game for England against Poland but should play his heart out in this one considering the striker competition at United. United have also only conceded 1 goal against Stoke at Old Trafford.
Man Utd. 2 Stoke 0
Swansea v Wigan
Roberto Martinez, now at Wigan managed Swansea, so he knows the Liberty stadium very well, Swansea started very well but fell off a bit because of win pressure. Wigan goes to Wales with a winning mind set but i will go for a Swansea win but just...
Swansea 1 Wigan 0

West Brom v Man. City
West Brom has won all their home games this season but has not met a team of City’s stature. This should be their biggest test so far. Steve Clarke has done an incredible job at the Hawthorns and the fans seem to have forgotten about Roy Hodgson already. The best thing is they are playing with confidence and have nothing to lose. Roberto Mancini is Man. City’s biggest problem this season; he tinkers a lot and doesn’t have a first 11 he trusts. This game has a draw written all over it.
West Brom 1 Man. City 1
West Ham v Southampton
Andy Carrol is back for West Ham! This is bad news for Southampton. West Ham lost to a good Arsenal side and Southampton were unlucky against Fulham, but there can only be one winner in this tie
West Ham 2 Southampton 0
Norwich v Arsenal
Arsenal had to come from behind with a Robin Van Persie double to beat Norwich at Carrow Road. Van Persie has moved on, Arsenal look to be heading in a positive direction and Norwich is heading in a negative direction. Last premiership weekend Norwich was beaten 4-1 by Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and Arsenal won at West ham. This should be an interesting game with an over score line. Giroud scored for the first time in the premiership last time, i see him score tomorrow too.
Norwich 1 Arsenal 3
Sunderland v Newcastle
Two Managers who are very good at what they do, last season they got into a touchline war but it’s over now. This derby is always fun to watch and is won on mistakes. A lot of people believe this will be a draw; however I will go for a narrow win for Newcastle. Ba and Cisse were involved in the African cup tie against Ivory Coast that ended in violence; they should put that behind tomorrow and help their team win.
Sunderland 0 Newcastle 1
QPR v Everton
Mark Hughes has had a torrid time picking his best team, this is one of the reasons his team is at the bottom of the table, it is too harsh on them but football is about picking the right team at the right time. Everton have been amazing, i can’t wait to see what they can do without the injured Maroune Fellaini. QPR should have a redemption weekend.
QPR 2 Everton 1
