Andrew's Premier League Predictions

Sunderland v Tottenham
What a Win for Martin Oniell's Sunderland against Manchester City, they have now won three of their last four games, i always knew Martin Oniell would turn things around for the Black Cats, but they come up against a very convicing Tottenham. They Controled Villa from the first to the end winning very comfortably. this will be a very tight game, considering the amount of strength Sunderland put up on Boxing day, and Spurs travel to the stadium of light. i will go for a share in spoils.
Prediction: Sunderland 1 Tottenham 1

Aston Villa v Wigan

Another game that has a draw written all over it, although i will personally go for a Villa Win. Aston Villa have let in 12 goals in 2 games and they look like they are in a mess, but they are a young side and that is why they are incosistent. Wigan for me have been unlucky in their previous matches, for example, they should have got a penalty at Everton and at home to Arsenal and they dont play that badly but Aston Villa should be very strong at Villa Park
Prediction: Aston Villa 2 Wigan 0

Fulham v Swansea

Fulham are on a bad run but when it comes to Craven Cottage, they are absolutely hard to crack, Swansea will be without top striker Michu who picked up an injury against Reading, this should make a huge difference. Fulham should win this comfortably.

Prediction: Fulham 3 Swansea 1

Man Utd v West Brom

I dont realy know how to talk about Manchester United, they play like Champions although there are two weaknesses in Sir Alex Ferguson's team, one is the goalkeeping position, am sure Sir Alex is pondering a serious move to solve the crisis there. Two, Defensively, they are just not doing it for me and some teams have learnt about these weaknesses. West Brom are a complete side that hasnt been given enough credit, but it is a huge task to ask of anything from them at Old trafford and i will take the risk considering United was seriously taken out energy wise against Newcastle and West Brom have confidence after a briliant win at QPR.

Prediction: Man Utd 1 West Brom 1

Norwich v Man City

Iam already feeling for Norwich, not that they are not a good side, but City have to come back to winning ways and they can be very devastating when they are the mood to win. They will be in the mood to win at carrow road.

Prediction: Norwich 0 Man City 3

Reading v West Ham

Reading finally got a point at Swansea on Boxing day after seven defeats in a row, that should help their confidence, but as i say week in, week out, they just dont have the strength in a team to cope with the Premier League. West Ham on the other hand has had a couple of days rest due to the postponed game against Arsenal, this should do them some good! The Hammers should be able to play out a narrow win.
Prediction: Reading 1 West Ham 2

Stoke v Southampton

Stoke played like a final against Liverpool, i was so impressed with their performance, i believe they should tear Southampton apart if they can repeat that performance and the Saints are not very good travelers.
Prediction: Stoke 2 Southampton 0

Arsenal v Newcastle
Arsenal are looking for a third win in a row and certainly that should bring back all lost confidence, and if the Gunners know they are playing well, they will be a very hard team to write off. Ofcourse they had a day off on Boxing day and Newcastle played Boxing day madness with Manchester United. The Newcastle squad i suspect can not contain two very hard and exhousstive games in a row. That is why i believe Arsene Wenger's Arsenal should run away winners.
Prediction: Arsenal 4 Newcastle 1
